1. What is G0.4 Balancing?

The G-rating refers to the permissible residual unbalance. While many entry-level manufacturers settle for G2.5 or even G6.3, G0.4 represents an ultra-precision category typically reserved for grinding spindles and high-end aerospace components. For our 9kW ATC spindles, this means the center of gravity of the rotor assembly is offset by less than a few micrometers from its axis of rotation.

Technical Insight:

Vibration velocity is measured in mm/s. A G0.4 balanced spindle at 24,000 RPM produces 2.5 times less vibration force than a G1.0 spindle. This translates directly into a 40% longer lifespan for the P4 ceramic bearings.

2. The Impact on TIR (Total Indicator Runout)
